Resources for Businesses Navigating Immigration-Related Challenges

Dear Pacific Beach Businesses,

Following the recent immigration enforcement action at a restaurant in the South Park neighborhood, many businesses across San Diego are seeking guidance on how to prepare for and respond to similar situations. We understand that this has raised concerns for both employers and employees, and we want to ensure that our local business community has access to clear, trusted information and resources.

In an effort to support our members and neighbors, we’ve compiled a list of legal, compliance, and emergency resources designed to help businesses navigate immigration-related challenges. These tools are available to help you understand your rights and responsibilities and to access professional support when needed.

If you are looking for ways to support those directly affected by the South Park incident, a community-led fundraiser has been created to assist impacted workers and their families:

We are also in the process of organizing a free immigration-focused workshop for Pacific Beach business owners. This session will cover:

  • How to respond in the event of an enforcement visit
  • How to support your employees
  • How to access legal assistance and emergency planning resources

Once the date and time are confirmed, we will share more details.

Below, you’ll find key organizations offering free and low-cost support to businesses and individuals seeking guidance.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need assistance navigating these issues. We are here to support you.
