It’s award season in Pacific Beach! As we enter a brand-new year, Discover Pacific Beach takes this time to celebrate our outstanding businesses here in the Pacific Beach Business Improvement District. Subcommittees of Discover Pacific Beach nominate businesses in three different categories to recognize the accomplishments, improvements and resilience of our local Pacific Beach businesses. Nominees are announced in early January and voting begins to determine the winners. The nominees will be posted on the Discover PB website and social media outlets along with the link on how and where to vote. Voting is open to the public so anyone can cast a vote on who they think should win. The voting polls will close on March 15th, so be sure to cast yours before then! The winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Dinner and Casino Night in March aboard the William B Evans Sternwheeler at the Catamaran Resort Hotel. This year, the awards gala is on Thursday, March 28th from 6-10pm.
The awards dinner is the signature celebration of all the successes and accomplishments that Pacific Beach has achieved throughout the year. Volunteers, notable community members, partners and patrons are also given awards to recognize importance of partnership and innovation throughout our community.
