DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us every Tuesday from 3-7 pm on Bayard between Garnet Ave and Grand Ave for the PB Tuesday Farmers’ Market. \nFind fresh fruits\, vegetables\, herbs\, meats\, cheeses\, eggs\, breads\, flowers\, sauces\, dips\, and spreads\, along with gourmet dining options & handcrafted artisan works. \nDue to current city guidelines\, the market will be spread out and booths are limited. Customers must use one touch shopping\, which means no squeezing products. Instead\, point out the items you would like to buy. Reusable bags can be used at markets as long as the shopper packs their own bag. Capacity will be enforced and blocks will each have only one entry and one exit point. A minimum of six feet of physical distance must be kept between everyone including family members (to avoid confusion). Due to limited capacity\, no pets are allowed in the market\, and shoppers are requested to shop alone and efficiently. Face coverings are currently required for shoppers as well as farmers and vendors. \nWatch the Pacific Beach Market Instagram and Facebook accounts for further updates and confirmed vendor lists the day before each market. \nNo cash on hand? As part of “a NEW Pacific BeachFest Experience\,” this Best of the Beach Fish Taco Contest will take place over 6 weeks\, allowing ticket holders to stop by competing restaurants across PB to sample their selected signature fish taco. After tasting all tacos\, votes will be cast through an online survey. One vote per person. A unique email address for each ticketholder is needed while checking out. DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 3/12/2020: \nFirst\, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your support of Discover Pacific Beach and our Annual Casino Night and Awards. \nEarlier today the County of San Diego mandated  to enforce Governor Newson’s policy to not allow social gatherings larger than 250 people in order to protect our community from spreading the coronavirus (COVID-19).  While these are unfortunate circumstances we fully support the County of San Diego’s decision to best protect Pacific Beach from spreading this virus and hopefully shortening the time in which our community will be effected.  Therefore\, we are choosing to postpone the Annual Casino Night and Awards to a November date. \n\nIf you were nominated for an award we are working on a way to announce our winners in the next week or so\, stay tuned!\n\nThat being said we understand that these are uncertain times for all of us but particularly our small business community.  Please continue to stay informed by credible sources like the County of San Diego link below.  We are urging people to spend their money strategically as our small businesses brace for a difficult month and continue to patronize them as appropriate.  If you have the means please consider purchasing a gift card to pay forward from your favorite small business or a donation to the local food bank\, who will be stressed for resources providing for those who cannot purchase food in advance. \nDiscover Pacific Beach is committed to staying informed and providing that information to you as we receive it.
