Customers must use one touch shopping\, which means no squeezing products. Instead\, point out the items you would like to buy. Reusable bags can be used at markets as long as the shopper packs their own bag. Capacity will be enforced and blocks will each have only one entry and one exit point. A minimum of six feet of physical distance must be kept between everyone including family members (to avoid confusion). Due to limited capacity\, no pets are allowed in the market\, and shoppers are requested to shop alone and efficiently. As part of “a NEW Pacific BeachFest Experience\,” this year we are featuring some of our favorite BeachFest artists and crafters at our ARTober at the Market. Find these special guest artists at our weekly Pacific Beach Farmers’ Market every Tuesday in October from 3-7 pm at Bayard and Hornblend!

DESCRIPTION:Best of the Beach Fish Taco Contest\n“A NEW Pacific BeachFest Experience”\nPacific Beach\, San Diego\, California\nContest tasting runs: October 1\, 2020 – November 15\, 2020\nVoting closes: November 18\, 2020\nTicket sales close: November 11\, 2020 \nWhile we are unable to hold Pacific BeachFest in all of its glory this year\, Discover Pacific Beach is committed to bringing our community a new way to enjoy old favorites. We obviously couldn’t let our Best of the Beach Fish Taco Contest go by without naming a 2020 winner! \nAs such\, we are putting a new spin on this competition. As part of “a NEW Pacific BeachFest Experience\,” this Best of the Beach Fish Taco Contest will take place over 6 weeks\, allowing ticket holders to stop by competing restaurants across PB to sample their selected signature fish taco. After tasting all tacos\, votes will be cast through an online survey. One vote per person. A unique email address for each ticketholder is needed while checking out. If a unique email is not provided\, the ticketholder may lose their chance to vote.  \nParticipating Restaurants: \n\n\n\nCalifornia Taco Club (4465 Mission Blvd\, San Diego\, CA 92109) – Beer Battered Fish Taco\nCity Tacos (4516 Mission Blvd\, San Diego\, CA 92109) – Pescado Taco\nMaverick’s Beach Club (860 Garnet Ave\, San Diego\, CA 92109) – Mahi Mahi Taco\nPB Fish Shop (1775 Garnet Ave\, San Diego\, CA 92109) – TKO Taco\nPB Shore Club (4343 Ocean Blvd\, San Diego\, CA 92109) – Grilled Mahi Taco\nSandbar Sports Grill (718 Ventura Pl\, San Diego\, CA 92109) – TKO Grilled Mahi Mahi Taco\n\n\n\nTickets will be available to be picked up at our WILL CALL locations at the specified dates and times. If these options do not work for you\, please email becca@www.pacificbeach.org or call us at 858-273-3303 to set up a different time to get your tickets. \nWILL CALL PICK UP: \nDISCOVER PACIFIC BEACH OFFICE – PLEASE CALL FIRST TO VERIFY STAFF IS IN THE OFFICE!\n1503 Garnet Ave\nMonday\, Wednesday\, Fridays from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm\nTuesday\, Thursday from 11 am – 5:00 pm \nOnce you have your ticket\, you will be able to start and finish your taco tasting and sample the restaurant-selected signature fish taco at each of the participating restaurants beginning October 1st until November 15th. Just present your ticket to the restaurant and they will mark it off. \nVoting will open beginning October 10th. Participants will be emailed directly with a survey to select their favorite fish taco. Voting closes November 18\, 2020. The survey will be sent to the emails provided for each ticketholder during the check out process. One vote per person/email address. \n
