Board of Directors
At the core of citizenship is the desire to care for the well being of the community.
The Discover Pacific Beach board of directors is a comprised of 15 PB business owners/managers who volunteer their time to help the business improvement district meet its mission; "To promote and revitalize the Pacific Beach community physically and economically."
The board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 12 noon to hear updates from each of the four Discover Pacific Beach standing committees; Organization, Design, Promotion and Economic Restructuring and vote on action items.
A board election is held every November and all 1,200 PB businesses are mailed a ballot. If you are interested in serving on the board it is requested that you first become an active participant on a standing committee for one year. Please review the committee agendas on this website to determine your volunteer interests. Directors serve three-year terms.
All meetings are open to the public and are held at the Discover Pacific Beach office at 1503 Garnet Avenue. Please call first to confirm meeting date and time, 858-273-3303.
